Building better relationships with kids

Relationships are tricky things in families.

They are dynamic and ever-changing.

Loving each other and liking each other are two different things.

Kids may love each other, but they won’t necessarily like each other. Same goes with kids and parents.

Unconditional love, maybe one thing but actually liking each other can be a stretch at certain times.

The key to effective families is that time is spent building relationships between each other.

You don’t have to do too much together, just spend some time in each other’s company.

One way of spending time with each is through DOING things together. You can read, play, eat, watch, tumble, joke, drive..........

The list is endless. Focus on DOING things you enjoy and relationships will blossom naturally.
